Reflecting on Our Acts of Service in 2024: Giving Back to Our Community

At Sellers Insurance, we believe in the power of giving back. We are proud to give back to the community that we have been a part of for over 105 years. Through our Acts of Service initiative, we created meaningful opportunities to serve and make a positive impact in 2024. From environmental clean-ups to collecting food and goods for those in need, our team came together to support local organizations and individuals.

One of our standout moments in 2024 was participating in a clean-up effort at Cradle Beach, a special place for children and families in our community. It was a rewarding day spent preserving this cherished camp, ensuring it remains a welcoming place for all their campers. Additionally, we hosted several donation drives, collecting food and essential items for local shelters and families experiencing hardship. We also collected over 800 pounds of electrical recycling, helping both the environment and to raise funds for Camp Good Days and Special Times.

As we approached the holiday season, we had the privilege of working with two incredible organizations: FeedMore WNY and the Family Justice Center. Our partnership with FeedMore WNY in Buffalo allowed us to assist in their mission to address food insecurity in the region. Our team was proud to contribute 219 pounds of food to this important cause, ensuring that families had the resources they needed for a warm holiday meal.

We also had the honor of supporting the Family Justice Center's Holiday Hope Shop, which provided a holiday shopping experience to survivors of domestic violence and their families. We hope that by contributing to these organizations efforts to help those in need that we could bring some joy and hope to our local community during what can be a challenging time of year.

These opportunities to give back are a reminder of how much we can accomplish when we come together as a community. We are grateful for the chance to make a difference and look forward to finding new ways to give back through our Acts of Service in the coming year. Together, we can create lasting change and build a brighter future for all.
